  • Kukeldash Madrasah is one of the largest and surviving madrasahs in Central Asia, which is located in the most ancient part of Tashkent near Chorsu Square. The oldest Chorsu market is also located here, walking along which you will feel the whole flavor of the oriental bazaar.
  • In the State Museum of History, we will get acquainted with all the milestones in the history of Uzbekistan and see many unique cultural and historical exhibits.
  • Tashkent metro - as beautiful as Moscow metro, and combines Uzbek traditional motives with classical elements. Let's take the chance to drive through several stations and see the most interesting stations with our own eyes.
  • The building of the opera house named after Alisher Navoi.
  • In the evening we will take a walk along the Amir Timur Square, and the Broadway - the city center and a favorite place of recreation for local residents.

  • Margilan is especially famous as a city where craftsmen create wonderful embroidery, handicrafts (skullcaps, suzane), exquisite carving on wooden surfaces and ganch.
  • The local population is proud of the production of fabrics from the finest natural silk. Khan-atlases, bekasams and adras are known all over the world for their iridescent colors.
  • We will visit the Erdolik factory. It started its activity in 1972 and is one of the largest silk production enterprises. We will see workshops that process cocoons, make threads from silk, produce weaving warp, and create silk fabrics and carpets. Almost all of these technologies are ancient and invariable types of manual labor. No one will remain indifferent to see how this delicate silk is created.

  • The city is famous for its ceramics. Here, since ancient times, its own unique technology for the production of ceramic masterpieces has been developed. The color range is characterized by the presence of turquoise, brown and blue shades on a snow-white background, achieved using a mixture of glaze with cobolt. And in the patterns, preference is given to pictures in the form of picturesque vegetation. Among the most famous masters of Rishtan of our time, Rustam Usmanov and Alisher Nazirov should be noted. Today's Rishtan is world famous precisely thanks to the author's works of these famous ceramists-artists.
    We will visit the home of the master ceramist and get acquainted with the whole process of making amazing ceramic products. The house also exhibits a variety of works that showcase the craftsmanship and imagination of local craftsmen.

After the excursion, transfer to the city of Kokand. Lunch at the restaurant. Excursion in Kokand:

  • Khudoyarkhan's palace - on the entire territory of Central Asia, this is the only palace of the khan that has survived to our time. The palace has a minaret decorated with ceramic tiles, seven courtyards and one hundred and nineteen rooms, all rooms are decorated with openwork ganch carving, decorated with ornamental paintings and decorated with gilding.
  • Jami Mosque is the main Friday mosque of the city. Its decoration is a long aivan held by 98 carved wooden decks. And also a minaret, laid out with a smooth, simple masonry of burnt bricks and a height of twenty-two meters.
  • The Modari Khan mausoleum, which means “Khan's mother”, was built for the mother of the ruler of Kokand, Umarkhan, by order of her daughter-in-law. And he became the burial vault of all women of the khan's family.
  • Madrasah Narbuta-biy is the highest Muslim educational institution of the eighteenth century. Today, the madrasah is still functioning and represents an institute for religious knowledge.

  • Siab Bazaar is a modern traditional "oriental" market in Samarkand that surprises tourists with its colorfulness and variety of products and goods offered.

  • Bibi-Khanum Mosque (XIV - XV centuries) - a project conceived by Timur as the largest mosque of that time. It impresses with its size and grandeur.
  • Registan Square (XV-XVII centuries) - the heart of Samarkand. A unique ensemble, consisting of three madrasahs, which were and are the center of the old city and the passage of forums and festivals.
  • Tasting of collection wines at the winery them. Khovrenko - After the traditional historical outline, the oldest winery in the city, 10 traditional glasses of different types of wines await guests.

  • Sitorai Mokhi Khosa palace (XIX century) - the summer residence of more than one generation of Bukhara emirs, built in the combined style of local and European traditions of that time. The halls of the palace are richly decorated with carpets and paintings.

Return to the city and excursion in the center:

  • Chor Minor is a unique and one of the most amazing buildings in Bukhara with four minarets - one in each corner. Built in 1807 by the Turkmen merchant Caliph Niyazkul.
  • The Lyabi-Khauz complex - the heart of Bukhara - is one of the central squares, formed in the 16th-17th centuries. The central pond "hauz" is framed by three buildings - the Kukeldash madrasah, the Divan-Begi madrasah and the Divan-Begi khanaka. The house is surrounded by old tall trees, which provide coolness in the summer heat and make the square a favorite resting place for local residents.

  • The Poikalyan complex (XII-XVI centuries) is a visiting card of Bukhara - an architectural ensemble consisting of the Kalyan cathedral mosque, the Miri Arab madrasah and the Kalyan minaret, the highest (46 m) in the Central Asian region.
  • Twin madrasahs - Ulugbek and Abdelazizkhan

  • Bolo Hauz Mosque (1712) - a famous and revered mosque near an artificial reservoir with amazing wooden columns.
  • The Samanid Mausoleum (IX-X centuries) - the first building in Central Asia, built of baked bricks in the shape of a cube, with a covered dome and a unique geometric design of masonry - a masterpiece of world architecture.

Today we will make a long drive from Bukhara to Khiva, through the Kizil Kum desert and the Amurdarya river. Enjoy exotic views of the sand dunes of one of the largest deserts in the world.

We will arrive in Khiva in the evening. For today we do not have any excursions planned, however, from just staying in the fortress city of Khiva, you will feel like in the stories about Aladdin.

All day sightseeing in Khiva:

  • We begin our excursion of "Ichan Kala" - the inner city-fortress of Khiva - through the main gates "Ata Darvoza". And at once we see the Madrasah of Muhammad Amin Khan, built in 1852 for the residence and education of students, now used as a hotel.
  • Kalta minor (1851) - a minaret located in the far corner of the Amin Khan madrasah. It was originally conceived as the tallest minaret in the Muslim world, its diameter was 15 m and a height of 28 m. But after the death of Amin Khan (1855), the project remained incomplete and its name is translated as "short minaret".
  • Kunya Ark (XVII century) - an internal fortress with administrative buildings, a powder workshop, a courthouse and its own mosque
  • Observation platform Ak-Sheikh Baba
  • Madrasah Muhammad Rahim Khan (XIX century) - a madrasah distinguished by its architectural construction in that it has not one, but two courtyards.

  • Juma Mosque (X - XVII centuries) - the roof of the mosque is supported by 213 carved columns. Thanks to the unique construction, this is the coolest place in Khiva, with excellent acoustics.
  • Islam Khoja minaret and madrasah (1908 - 1910) - 45 m. Height - the highest minaret in Khiva and an excellent place for viewing the panorama of Ichan Kala.
  • Tosh Hovli (1825 - 1842) - the khan's palace, consisting of three main buildings: the coronation hall, the reception hall and the harem.
  • The Pakhlavan Mahmud complex (XIV - XIX centuries) is the most remarkable architectural monument in Khiva with unique tiles. It was built in honor of the national hero, poet, healer and invincible fighter Pakhlavan Mahmud.
