Eastern Market - Siab Bazaar. This market is located not far from Registan, between the Bibi-Khanum mosque and the Shokhi-Zinda complex. This place is recommended for everyone who comes to Samarkand. At this bazaar you can taste incomparable Samarkand flatbreads (there are as many as seventeen types of them). An interesting fact is that they are edible even after three years. At the market you can buy fruits and vegetables, national clothes, as well as various crafts and souvenirs that will always remind you of this beautiful city.
Particular attention should be paid to oriental sweets, in particular, to Samarkand halva, since its recipe was invented in Samarkand. This delicious sweetness consists of various nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts and even sunflower seeds), fastened with a fondant from butter, milk and cream and cut into diamond-shaped pieces.
